These are super beautiful, small pearls, and because they are natural there is some variation in both size and surface quality. I think the chain is beautifully balanced with the size of the pearls, and on me, it creates a beautiful, dainty, almost choker-like necklace. The clasp is high quality, and the whole necklace feels very secure. I think it could pair really well with formal wear, or more daily wear, and I definitely think this could be a winning Christmas present for all ages, but it would have been a perennial favorite piece of jewelry when I was in middle or high school. I gave it four stars instead of five because it says all the pearls are evenly spaced on the description. The last pearls on the end of each side are spaced shorter than the other chain lengths in between the pearls. It does catch my eye and I’d like it to match the other pearls. Also I would have loved for the pearls to be placed all the way to the clasp for balance. I love that it is a 16 inch chain that can also be extended by 2 inches. Overall this necklace is the epitome of classic elegance. The price and quality are great! Highly recommend!
